Cloncurry & District Races / Derby Day

The Cloncurry & District Race Club has been racing since the 1880s and is one of the most successful race clubs in the North West. With five race meets annually, the 'Curry Races' have been a popular, long-standing social event for residents, not only in the Cloncurry community but for those in surrounding areas, too.

The club is, and always has been, run by volunteers who have dedicated their time to continually improve race days, ensuring the longevity of the club.

We are a family-friendly race club and welcome visitors from near and far to our race days. The Curry Races are the Best in the West!
